Joy Baptist Church
is having a BBQ Sale to benefit a mission trip to Vietnam, September 13 - 25. The BBQ will be sold at $6 per pound.
Anyone interested in purchasing some BBQ please contact Joy Baptist Church at 919-742-3285 or Mr. Bryant at 919-742-5345. All orders must be placed by Sunday, August 22nd,
and picked up on Friday, August 27th. Thank You for your support and more importantly for your prayers

Fall Creek Baptist Church is having "The Bible Trail" once again this year.
It will be held on Friday, Oct. 8th and Saturday, Oct. 9th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
at Fall Creek Recreational Park on Fall Creek Church Road, Bennett NC.
You can ride or walk the wooded trail where scenes from the
life of Christ are reenacted, including the trial, crucifixion
and resurrection of Jesus.
Great for all ages. Admission free. Concessions available.
A DVD of 2009 Bible Trail is available upon request.

Pittsboro Baptist Church
is currently seeking applicants for the position of Preschool Minister. This is a part time position. Applicants with a degree in Early Childhood Education are preferred. Prior experience in teaching and management is also desirable. On October 30, 2010, Oak Ranch, a division of
Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina
is presenting a festive day for our community. Riders from all over will come to ride their horses and families are invited to Oak Ranch for a day of activities, food, great Christian music, and fun! Wild West Family Day & Trail Ride is designed to provide a day of enjoyment for families and increase the community’s awareness of Oak Ranch and its work with children who have been abused or neglected or who are in need of stronger family support.
Oak Ranch, located on 755 acres on the Cape Fear River outside of Sanford, has three goals. First, to provide a healthy environment in which children are challenged and encouraged to develop spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. Second, we work with children and their parents to create new patterns of family life. Finally, our ultimate goal is to reunite families.

As you well know, this has been a tough year for all of us. If there’s ever a time we need your faithful support it is now. We have already had two volunteers to donate the pigs and get the cooked. Churches always help by doing such things as preparing side dishes, desserts, volunteering in various portions of the program, providing Contemporary Christian Worship bands, setting up kids activities, and much more. Oak Ranch is in its 10th year of serving children because of the faithfulness of fine people and organizations like yours.
